Don't have anything to trade? No problem!

I'll do a blanks and postage trade with newbies. That means that, for every CD you want from me, you send me that many extra blank discs. I do these for a purely greedy reason, which is that I can't afford blank discs. So I'm happy to do B&P trades, as long as you do them right by carefully following these directions:

1. Look on my list. Write me an email telling me that you are a newbie and would like to do a B&P trade. Make sure you tell me ahead of time which shows you want so that I can tell you if there is a problem with any of them. I'll give you my address.
2. Get a plain manilla envelope. Address it to me and put your return address on it.
3. Get a padded envelope. Address it to yourself.
4. Label whatever discs you want me to burn. For instance, if you want me to burn you a copy of Belle and Sebastian 11/1/98 and Elliott Smith 5/18/98, label those discs accordingly. I don't care how you do it. If you want to write the musician and the date only, that's fine. If you want to write the musician, city, venue, and date, that's fine too. Just make sure that it is clear what shows you want.
5. Include as many extra discs as I am burning for you. For instance, if I am burning you three discs, you should be sending me six CD's altogether.
6. Go to the post office. Put the labled CD's that I will be sending back to you in the padded envelope, but DON'T SEAL IT! Have it weighed and get the correct postage on it for me to send it back to you.
7. Now, put ALL the CD's into the padded envelope. Again, don't seal it! Put the padded envelope into the manilla envelope. Sometimes it is helpful to put the CD's into a little plastic baggie inside the padded envelope to prevent them from coming out of it and getting harmed in the mail.
8. Now, you can seal the manilla envelope. Get the correct postage on it and send it to me.
9. You'll get the padded envelope back from me complete with some nifty shows, likity split!

Remember, there is no need to include CD cases in any of this. If you have any questions, email me and ask.
